Character-Based
Parenting Workbooks
The workbooks and the personalized assessment work in tandem to allow parents to get an accurate view of themselves
(assessment) and
also to align their abilities with some of the main characteristics of
God in His role as a parent (workbooks). The main goal of the workbooks then
is to allow parents to be at their best and aligned with and empowered
by God’s best in order to love and to lead their children
effectively. Topics include understanding the impact of your
past on your parenting, an evaluation of the impact of your
personality on your parenting, a model of healthy living designed for
parents, a review of God’s role as a parent, a study of personal
character and parenting, and the development of a personal action plan
for each parent.
Just
as with the assessment, two versions of the workbooks are available.
The New Parent version is designed for parents who are either
expecting their first child, or who have very young children (under
three). If your children are older, then we recommend the Experienced
Parent version.
